We work with large, mid size and small companies all over NYC. Sometime the temp need is for a day or two (to cover a sick employee or jury duty request, etc.) sometime coverage is requested for a week or more depending on the situation (maternity leave, or disability).
We seek out candidates that have the hands on administrative assistant and reception exposure/experience/polish/skills (some acquired these skills while in college working as office assistants throughout their campus) and place them as temporary receptionists and administrative assistants as needed. Many of our temp candidates are recent college graduates that are still trying to figure out what they really want to do with their career. Some know what they want to do and just need temp work to pay bills while they reach their career potential and others are still in school and just looking for a 9-5 to keep busy, active and bills paid.
We also have a need for solid AA and EA temp candidates for some of our senior level temp support roles.
Candidates that were recently laid off or are about to be, would benefit from a long term temp or temp to perm opportunity. Sometimes these long term temp positions convert to perm for the right candidate and situation and I call them working interviews.
