Windsor Resources recognizes Kick Butts Day!
Today, on Kick Butts Day many people across the US are standing up and speaking out against Big Tobacco and the harmful products they produce. Windsor Resources stands with these advocates and believes in starting a dialogue to reach the day’s objective and “encourage the youth to reject the tobacco industry's deceptive marketing and stay tobacco-free.” For the occasion we were lucky enough to sit down with Windsor’s A&F Division President Mike Zaremski and discuss his ideas on taking a stand against tobacco.

1. Why did you make the personal choice to stop smoking?
My main reason was to improve my overall health and wanting to be around for my children.
2. What advice would you give to someone who is struggling with quitting tobacco?
I would say the short term pain is well worth the long term benefits. There are many aids that can help get you through the most difficult times, just keep in mind the long term goal and get past the first two weeks.
3. What would you say is the best way to discourage today’s youth from starting to use tobacco products?
I think keeping the youth informed on the real dangers of tobacco can go a long way in helping them make the decision to stay away from cigarettes and other tobacco products. I also think our mainstream media needs to take preventative measures and refrain from glamorizing cigarettes in any way. Magazine ads or tv characters may convince kids that smoking is cool when you are younger, but there is nothing further from the truth.
